Project: Metro Bank, Enfield

Saper Glass are delighted to announce that they have secured another Metro Bank, this time in the London Borough of Enfield. Located within the town centre, the new branch will be installed within existing retail space which is being extensively remodelled to achieve Metro Bank’s trade mark appearance featuring all glass facades with polished stainless perimeter framing running the full length of the dual aspect façade. Internally there will be glass partitioning forming a large conference room. Enfield will be Saper’s 31th Metro Bank project.

Project: Brixton Pillars – Phase 2

Saper Glass are delighted to announce that they have now secured the second phase of works on this prestigious regeneration project where existing railway arches beneath Brixton Overground Station are being refurbished to provide high quality retail space. Phase 2 completes the scheme and comprises of a further four glazed shopfronts to the remaining external arches matching the design of phase 1 plus an extensive package of EI60 fire rated glazed screens within the thoroughfare, an internal walkway created to provide pedestrian access though to the railway station which contains 7no kiosks and a full size internal retail unit. These are to be formed using JANSEN steel curtain walling and door system profiles.

Project: Hard Rock Hotel, London

Saper Glass are delighted to announce that they have secured the specialist glazing package at the new Hard Rock Hotel in London, This will be the first Hard Rock Hotel within the UK and as with every one of their Hotel’s around the world there will be an incredible memorabilia collection and Hard Rock London will pay tribute to former residents including Jimi Hendrix, Diana Ross, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder and Madonna. Our scope of works comprises of bespoke glass balustrading and brass hand railing separating the main Hard Rock Café from the adjacent bars and raised seating areas. In addition, we are also supplying several sets of automatic sliding doors within the public areas including two sets of fire resistant doors, giving table staff fast, easy passage between the kitchens and the main restaurant.

Project: Metro Bank, Moorgate

Saper Glass are delighted to announce that they have secured another Metro Bank, this time located within London’s iconic Moor house on London Wall. The branch will be located within existing ground floor retail space and our scope includes modifying the existing façade to accommodate the new entrance façade and an extensive internal works package including glass partitioning to ground floor and basement levels plus full height atrium glazing to mezzanine level and balustrading around the stairwell with an all glass security gate. Moorgate will be Saper’s 30th Metro Bank project.

Project: Barrafina, Coal Drops Yard

Saper Glass are delighted to announce that they have been selected to provide a glazed roof assembly for Barrafina at Coal Drops Yard, the vibrant new development in King’s Cross. This will be the largest of Barrafina’s four London restaurants and our scope of works is to create a bespoke 160 SQM three tiered stepped glazed roofing structure over the external terrace bar area. Formed in clear toughened and laminated glass for maximum transparency and safety the terrace bar will provide clients with alfresco dining all year round whatever the weather.

Project: Metro Bank, Putney

Saper Glass are delighted to announce that they have secured another Metro Bank, this time in Putney. Situated within a prime High Street location, the branch will be located within the ground floor of a newly constructed mixed use property with residential apartments above and features a flush glazed curtain wall dual aspect façade with polished stainless steel clad framework and curved glazing forming the corner. Internally there will be glass partitioning forming a large conference room. Putney will be Saper’s 29th Metro Bank project.

Project Bounty – Albert Dock

Saper Glass are delighted to announce that they have been selected to provide a new structural glazed façade within the colonnade of The Albert Dock, Liverpool where this grade 1 listed building is being fully refurbished to provide new retail/restaurant space. This challenging project uses PILKINGTON PLANAR to achieve a complex frameless double glazed façade detail formed in a series of individual arched topped and shaped panels to follow the vaulted ceiling line and maintain existing façade line with a raking return and recessed entrance area with all glass doors.

Project: Brixton Pillars – Phase 1

Saper Glass are delighted to announce that they have secured the shopfront package on this prestigious regeneration project where the existing railway arches beneath Brixton Overground Station will be refurbished to provide high quality retail space. The shopfronts which are situated along Atlantic Road and Brixton Station Road are shaped to fit within each individual arch and are primarily of a frameless glass construction but also feature louvres within the construction as required to provide passive ventilation. Our works on phase 1 works comprise of 18no external arches, more to hopefully follow in phase 2!

Project: Goldman Sachs

Saper Glass are delighted to announce that they have been selected to provide back painted glass wall cladding at Goldman Sachs new HQ in Shoe Lane, London. This newly construction building offers 840,000 Sq ft of office space over 8 floors and our works comprise of some 3,000 SQM of back painted glass cladding to be installed in toilet cores throughout the building.
